A browser extension shows the degree of immigration, crime, Islamisation and wokism in France's property adverts.

When users search for flats, they can see overlaid data to learn about the surrounding area before buying. The OVMF extension obtains the information from the controversial website mafrance.app.

A French Chrome extension allows Overlay the security, immigration, Islamisation, wokism and French culture indices directly onto property adverts.. In addition, it allows the location of mosques and migrant centres to be displayed on maps. The extension is called OVMF Property and takes the data from mafrance.app to display it on property portals such as SeLoger or LeBonCoin. When the user views a flat, they get the neighbourhood's scores for each aspect and an overall score. According to the creators, the extension addresses the need for a Profile of people seeking a safe and friendly environment.

The data from mafrance.app that filters OVMF on the portals

The website mafrance.app records location data such as the number of asylum centres and mosques, immigration levels, cultural change, crime, rapes, drug trafficking or the evolution of baby names. In Paris, the platform includes crime rates, the proportion of foreigners by neighbourhood, the political orientation of the municipal councils and security news relevant to the buyer. Now, with the OVMF extension, some of the data is displayed directly on property portals.

Among the most notable data, the portal highlights the Priority Neighbourhoods of the Urban Policy, Some 1,500 neighbourhoods that the French government has designated as priority areas due to their high crime, immigration and poverty rates. Around five million people live there. A buyer can tell at a glance if the flat they're viewing is in one of these problematic neighbourhoods.

The French 48 % want zero immigration

The success of tools like the OVMF is explained by the surveys: the 48% of the French want zero immigration, including legal immigration. Among women the percentage rises to 53 per cent. Sixty-five per cent specifically oppose non-European immigration, and 72 per cent would support a referendum on immigration. Other polls put at 74 per cent those who believe there are too many immigrants in the country.

Immigration to France continues to set records year after year, while the government actively promotes its distribution to rural areas. Macron has described the plan as an ’opportunity« in the midst of a »demographic transition«. Many local communities have successfully organised to block new asylum centres, often under intense political pressure.

Asylum centres in the neighbourhood: the figure that nobody publishes

The siting of immigrant reception centres is particularly sensitive. Across Europe, the announcement of a new asylum centre immediately sparks local protests. OVMF lets you know if the neighbourhood where you want to buy a house already has one.

The creators of OVMF say they are responding to a real need for useful information, even for left-wing families. With this service, buyers will no longer have to search for fragmented information across multiple official sources.
