A speech by a Saudi imam circulated on YouTube includes a stark warning: according to the preacher, When the Muslim community is strong in 40–50 years' time, it will come to offer the world two options, convert to Islam or become subjects and pay a tribute. If it is rejected, violence would be the response to take slaves and impose Islam. The option of submitting and paying includes living under Sharia because «it is for everyone»: The infidels will not be able to open nightclubs or fornicate in the street..

The speaker structures the idea as a phased strategy: (1) strengthen internally while the community is weak; (2) when it becomes strong enough, employ an offensive jihad to expand influence; (3) before conquered populations, offer conversion or paying tribute (jizya), with violence as a last resort. It is a clearly political and religious message that shuns symbolic interpretation and calls for concrete actions.

Jihad as an offensive struggle

The sage of Islam answers the question «What is jihad?» He speaks of the Muslim's struggle to become a better Muslim, which is always explained as a way of drawing violent connotations from Islam. But in a fit of sincerity he explains that «There is a jihad that everyone hides.»which is to pursue the unfaithful.

This jihad can be waged when Muslims are strong and centred on Islam. Then all that is required is to do what the Prophet already did: offer conversion or pay tribute and live under Sharia. If the options are not accepted, there is only one outcome.
