Immigrants legals es manifesten contra els il·legals a Londres: «Pareu de dir-nos extrema dreta, protegiu les dones i els nens»

Immigrants procedents de Nigèria, Síria o Veneçuela acusen les autoritats de tolerar la immigració il·legal i de silenciar qualsevol crítica.

Un grup d’immigrants legals s’ha manifestat al nord de Londres per denunciar l’impacte que la immigració il·legal té en les seves vides. Ho han fet sota el paraigua del col·lectiu Legal Immigrants for Sovereignty, un moviment que ha nascut simultàniament al Regne Unit, als Estats Units i a altres països europeus. La trobada ha estat recollida pel mitjà britànic Spiked, en aquest reportatge del 30 de juliol de 2025.

Els participants són homes i dones d’origen africà, llatinoamericà i asiàtic que han regularitzat la seva situació mitjançant processos legals. Ara, asseguren que se senten traïts per unes autoritats que permeten entrades il·legals massives mentre silencien la veu dels qui han seguit les normes.

«Pareu de dir-nos extrema dreta»

Una de les pancartes més visibles durant l’acte proclama: «Pareu de dir-nos extrema dreta, protegiu les dones i els nens». Amb aquest missatge, els participants rebutgen l’etiqueta que sovint es fa servir per desacreditar qualsevol crítica a la política migratòria.

«Quan diem que cal ordre i fronteres, no parlem des de l’odi. Parlem des de l’experiència», ha afirmat una de les ponents, d’origen etíop. Altres participants han denunciat que les comunitats més vulnerables són les primeres a patir les conseqüències de la immigració il·legal, especialment les dones i els infants.

«Ens han fet callar durant massa temps»

Molts dels presents han coincidit a denunciar que qualsevol intent de parlar sobre aquests temes és qualificat de racista o d’extrema dreta, fins i tot quan prové de persones nascudes fora d’Europa. «Ens han fet callar durant massa temps. Jo vinc del Vietnam, i respecto aquest país. Hi treballo, hi pago impostos, i els meus fills estudien aquí. Però el que està passant amb la immigració il·legal és insostenible: ningú controla res, i nosaltres en patim les conseqüències cada dia«, ha declarat davant dels aplaudiments del públic..

Un home d’origen sirià ha explicat que va trigar tres anys a obtenir l’estatus de refugiat i que el va aconseguir aportant proves, fent entrevistes i passant per procediments complexos. «Ara veig com gent que entra il·legalment per la frontera de la Manxa rep allotjament, ajudes i cobertura legal immediata. I si jo dic que això no és just, em diuen islamòfob. No és islamofòbia. És sentit comú.»

Per a molts dels assistents, el silenci ha estat imposat per por de ser assenyalats, rebutjats o expulsats del debat públic. «Hi ha un ambient de por. Hem arribat a un punt en què només pot parlar qui diu exactament el que el govern o els mitjans volen sentir. La resta som perillosos, tot i haver complert totes les normes», ha declarat una dona veneçolana, visiblement emocionada.

Una veu incòmoda per al discurs oficial

Els organitzadors han assegurat que no pretenen enfrontar-se a ningú, sinó obrir un debat necessari sobre els límits de la solidaritat, la legalitat i la integració. «No som racistes. No som feixistes. Som immigrants legals que volem respecte«, ha resumit una dona de veu ferma davant les càmeres.

El moviment ha promès continuar organitzant trobades arreu d’Europa i fer sentir la seva veu davant institucions que, segons diuen, els han ignorat sistemàticament.
