British Islamism is already talking about training Muslims in martial arts in mosques.

British Islamism is no longer content with denouncing “Islamophobia”. It now also talks about physically training Muslims from mosques. Roshan Salih, editor and founder of the Muslim portal 5Pillars, has called for it. a “massive physical training programme” so that the Muslim community in the United Kingdom is “the strongest” and “the most capable of defending itself” in the country. The proposal is not limited to gyms or sports clubs: Salih argues that this training should be offered from “every mosque” and “every community centre.”.

The statements were made on the podcast. Muslims Uncensored, from 5Pillars himself, in a debate about the film Citizen Vigilante. Salih presented the film as an anti-Muslim work and argued that Resources must be allocated to confronting the far right on the streets. But the underlying message goes far beyond a critique of a film: to turn mosques and Islamic centres into spaces for the physical organisation of the Muslim community.

“They must know that confronting a Muslim will not be easy.

The previous weekend, 5Pillars published on social media a text signed by its editor in which it stated that “All Muslims living in the United Kingdom must learn to defend themselves: men, women and children.”. The diagnosis was even more explicit: “There is a clear campaign to intimidate Muslims.” According to Salih, the “so-called patriots” follow Muslims “through the streets and parks” to provoke incidents.".

And he concluded with a call to collective force: “We must become the fittest, strongest and wisest community in the United Kingdom.”In the same text, he claimed that Muslims are “threatened” and that “We have no choice but to face this threat.”. The message ended with a warning to the “bullies”: “They should know that confronting a Muslim will not be easy.”.
