Segons informa el diari local Sydöstran , cinc joves d’origen iraquià, siri i libanès d’entre 17 i 24 anys han estat condemnats per haver humiliat i agredit un noi de 15 anys dins un centre comercial de Karlshamn (Suècia). Els fets, que van quedar enregistrats en vídeo i es van utilitzar com a prova al judici, incloïen cops, empentes, escopinades i l’obligació de despullar-se i ballar davant dels agressors.

Els mitjans sues destaquen el caràcter humiliant de l’agressió, qualificada judicialment com a combinació de maltractament, coacció i robatori, ja que també es va sostreure un rellotge a la víctima.

El principal acusat és un iraquià de 24 anys ha rebut una pena de presó d’un any i mig. Segons la sentència, aquest jove tenia antecedents previs i pateix una discapacitat intel·lectual moderada, així com altres diagnòstics que van ser tinguts en compte pel tribunal. No obstant això, l’informe del Servei de Reinserció va descartar que fos apte per a treballs en benefici de la comunitat, de manera que complirà la pena en un centre penitenciari.

Els altres han rebut sentències d’entre 35 i 180 hores de servei juvenil. Cap d’ells pot ser expulsat perquè tenen ciutadania sueca.

Els joves van ser identificats després que la germana d’un dels agressors veiés el vídeo i el reconegués. Quan el va enfrontar pels fets, es va produir un fort aldarull a la plaça principal de Karlshamn que va obligar la policia a intervenir per restablir l’ordre.

La portaveu de la policia sueca explica que cada cop son més freqüents aquests episodis i els acostumen a trobar en el curs d’altres investigacions. “A la gent li agrada gravar-ho, difondre-ho i així mostrar el que han fet”, va afegir.
