França està vivint una onada de mesures d’urgència que afecten directament els joves: cada cop més municipis estan decretant tocs de queda nocturns per a menors d’edat com a resposta a l’increment alarmant de la violència juvenil als carrers. A Villecresnes, prop de París, el toc de queda afecta tots els menors de 18 anys, i a Dourdan, la restricció estarà activa durant gairebé tot l’estiu. Triel-sur-Seine, també a la regió parisenca, ha adoptat mesures similars.

Baralles, armes blanques i joves detinguts

Les autoritats justifiquen aquestes mesures com a reacció a fets greus com agressions violentes, robatoris, destrucció de mobiliari urbà i enfrontaments entre grups de joves armats amb ganivets o bats de beisbol. En alguns casos, s’han produït baralles amb desenes de joves implicats, a plena nit, en zones urbanes o suburbials.

Els alcaldes que han decretat els tocs de queda afirmen que la situació “ha escapat al control habitual de la policia local” i que cal “protegir la població i obligar els pares a responsabilitzar-se dels seus fills”.

Migració i delinqüència: un debat latent

Tot i que els tocs de queda no distingeixen per origen, alguns sectors polítics i mediàtics vinculen aquests episodis de violència amb joves d’origen immigrant o migrants no acompanyats. A ciutats com Calais o Marsella, la presència de grups juvenils vinculats a xarxes il·legals ha generat tensions amb la policia, incloent enfrontaments directes, llançament de pedres i persecucions nocturnes.
