Per entrar en contacte amb el salafisme avui no cal llegir l’Alcorà ni posar un peu en una mesquita. N’hi ha prou amb obrir TikTok i mirar un vídeo. La pantalla mostra una noia jove, simpàtica, amb hijab o niqab, que diu amb un somriure càlid: “Des que porto el vel, sóc feliç”. La radicalització no comença amb un missatge d’odi, sinó amb un missatge d’amor —a Déu, a la llei religiosa, a una comunitat tancada (ISD, 2021).

El contingut no sembla perillós. No hi ha armes, ni crides a la lluita. Però rere aquesta aparença de pau interior s’hi amaga un discurs salafista suau i emocional que apel·la a noies adolescents sense cap formació religiosa. Un discurs que associa la felicitat femenina a la submissió, a la diferenciació respecte a Occident, i a una visió rigorista de l’islam.

El vel com a felicitat i protecció

El missatge central és simple: el vel no és opressió, sinó llibertat. Aquestes influencers musulmanes —sovint joves, carismàtiques i modernes— presenten el hijab com un acte d’amor a Déu, com una armadura protectora contra el món exterior. Diuen que abans vivien perdudes, exposades, oprimides pel capitalisme o la mirada masculina. I que ara, cobertes i obedients, se senten “plenes”. Fan servir frases com:

  • “Sóc una perla, i les perles es protegeixen”
  • “No sóc esclava dels homes, sóc esclava d’Al·là”
  • “Amb el vel ja no em miren com un cos, sinó com una ànima”
  • “No necessito l’aprovació de la societat, només la d’Al·là.”
  • “Sóc més forta des que visc segons la voluntat de Déu.”
  • “Abans volia agradar als altres. Ara només vull agradar a Al·là.”
  • “Cobrir-me no em fa dèbil, em fa poderosa.”
  • “Les dones occidentals es pensen que són lliures, però són esclaves del sistema.”

Aquestes paraules funcionen com a ganxo emocional. Tenen forma de consell, però actuen com a ideologia. El que presenten com a elecció personal és, en realitat, un model tancat de dona virtuosa i pura, oposada a l’occidental, que és mostrada com a perduda, buida o corrompuda.

Aquest llenguatge apel·la directament a adolescents que busquen identitat o comunitat. Publicant vídeos curts amb recomanacions espirituals, estètica suau i parlar directe: “Tu també pots sentir-te bé com jo”. Això genera comunitats d’adolescents que busquen pertinença i referència, sovint en comptes de mesquites o xarxes tradicionals.
