La piscina municipal de Reus ha publicat un vídeo promocional per on apareix una noia vestida amb burkini recomanant posar-se crema solar abans de banyar-se.

Tot i que l’Ajuntament presenta la campanya com una aposta per la diversitat i la inclusió, el missatge no ha passat desapercebut. Veus crítiques han denunciat que l’espai públic acaba normalitzant simbologia masclista en lloc de defensar una igualtat real.

El burkini és eina de control social sobre la imatge femenina. El vídeo, més que fomentar la convivència, obre interrogants sobre quins valors s’estan traslladant des de les administracions públiques quan es presenten com a moderns elements que reprodueixen desigualtats de gènere.

Burkini i protecció solar: no s’entén

A la contradicció de fons se li suma un detall que ha generat incomprensió entre els espectadors: la noia amb burkini recomana posar-se crema solar abans de banyar-se, tot i anar completament coberta. El missatge, dit amb to desenfadat, ha estat considerat per molts com un gest incoherent que desacredita la pròpia peça que es pretén normalitzar.

Aquest contrast entre el discurs institucional i la lògica del contingut ha reforçat la sensació que la campanya no només és ideològicament confusa, sinó també comunicativament poc rigorosa, alimentant un debat incòmode sobre la banalització de símbols d’opressió en nom de la inclusió.
