Dones musulmanes planten cara a la pressió pel hijab en nenes en una mesquita de Vigo

Acusen els responsables de la mesquita de Vigo d’haver expulsat dones d’un grup de WhatsApp per qüestionar la imposició del mocador a nenes.

Un grup de dones musulmanes ha denunciat públicament haver patit pressions, censura i expulsions després de qüestionar la imposició del hijab en un grup de WhatsApp de conversos de la mesquita de Vigo. Segons recull Islam News, el conflicte va esclatar després que es compartís un vídeo de nenes cobertes amb hijab i es presentés aquesta vestimenta com una obligació religiosa. Algunes converses van protestar per les imatges i van qüestionar que nenes tan petites haguessin d’aparèixer ja cobertes. La resposta, segons la denúncia, va ser immediata: acusacions de desobediència i pecat, missatges eliminats i expulsions del grup. Les dones que denuncien la situació relaten que se les va acusar de voler «distorsionar la religió islàmica» i d’intentar «inventar una nova religió».

“Acateu les normes de l’islam”

La denúncia assegura que la resposta del responsable del grup de WhatsApp «Nuevos musulmanes» va anar molt més enllà d’un simple desacord religiós. Es van esborrar missatges, es van restringir les intervencions i diverses dones van ser expulsades després d’haver expressat la seva opinió. En un dels missatges més durs, se’ls va arribar a dir que «els musulmans recentment convertits heu d’acatar les normes de l’islam i no ensenyar-nos la nostra religió», una frase que les denunciants interpreten com una manera de relegar els conversos a una posició inferior dins la comunitat. I la represàlia, segons expliquen, no es va acabar aquí: algunes de les dones que havien protestat també van ser expulsades d’un segon grup musulmà de Galícia, «Jóvenes de la Bondad».

Les denunciants també expliquen que el mateix responsable ja havia publicat anteriorment missatges centrats en la manera com han de vestir les dones musulmanes. Aquesta insistència els fa percebre que la roba femenina rep una atenció constant i desproporcionada per davant d’altres qüestions religioses o de convivència. De fet, remarquen que el conflicte no va sorgir perquè neguessin el hijab com a mandat religiós —diverses afirmen que el consideren obligatori i que el porten—, sinó per la manera com aquesta exigència es transmet i per la pressió que, al seu parer, recau especialment sobre nenes, adolescents i, especialment, dones converses.

Discrepar acaba en expulsió

En un dels missatges compartits pels administradors s’adverteix: «Tenemos pleno derecho a expulsar a cualquiera que falte el respeto a los demás, así que por favor no nos amenacen. ¿Entendido?». Les denunciants, però, sostenen que les intervencions de les dones havien estat respectuoses. Segons expliquen, es van esborrar missatges abans que la resta de membres poguessin llegir-los, es van expulsar diverses participants i, finalment, el grup va quedar restringit perquè només els administradors poguessin escriure.

Les captures aportades per les denunciants mostren que aquesta manera de moderar el grup també va ser qüestionada per altres participants. En un dels missatges, una persona retreu directament als responsables haver «suprimit el seu comentari i haver-la fet fora sense dret a rèplica» i els respon que les seves pròpies «maneres» tampoc no són les més adequades. Per a les signants, el problema no és només el desacord religiós, sinó que les persones que qüestionaven la manera de gestionar-lo acabaven sense possibilitat de respondre.

Davant d’aquesta situació, les dones han demanat formalment a la Mesquita de Vigo, UCID Galicia i UCIDE España que investiguin el que va passar. Reclamen una revisió independent, diligent i documentada dels missatges eliminats, les expulsions i les decisions de moderació, i que s’aclareixi tant la vinculació de la mesquita amb el grup com el paper de la persona que identifiquen com a president de la Mesquita de Vigo. També demanen que es valori la reincorporació de les expulsades, que s’estableixin normes de convivència i moderació transparents i iguals per a tothom, que els conversos no siguin tractats com a membres de menor categoria i que es garanteixi un espai on es pugui preguntar, discrepar i participar sense por de ser ridiculitzat, desacreditat o exclòs. Finalment, reclamen la creació d’un canal confidencial de comunicació i revisió perquè les incidències internes puguin ser denunciades amb garanties i rebin una resposta motivada.
