MiniMuslim Camp introdueix la segregació religiosa a l’oferta de colònies a Catalunya

El projecte, adreçat a nens musulmans de 6 a 12 anys, combina activitats lúdiques amb formació religiosa en un entorn tancat vetat als no musulmans.

El cap de setmana del 8 al 10 d’agost de 2025 tindrà lloc a la Masia Can Caballé, prop de Girona, el Mini Muslim Camp, un campament d’estiu organitzat exclusivament per a nens i nenes de confessió musulmana. L’esdeveniment ha generat polèmica a les xarxes socials i en alguns mitjans de comunicació pel seu caràcter excloent, ja que limita la participació a infants que professin la fe islàmica.

Colònies per créixer «connectats a Allah”

El projecte es presenta a través de les xarxes com un espai pensat perquè els infants musulmans puguin “créixer connectats a Allah”, i combina activitats de lleure com jocs, excursions o tallers amb formació religiosa i valors islàmics. El preu de les colònies és de 150 euros per participant, i està pensada per a menors d’entre 6 i 12 anys. Les places es gestionen mitjançant xarxes socials com Instagram i TikTok, on el perfil oficial del campament publica vídeos promocionals i contingut visual de les edicions anteriors.

Malgrat la voluntat pedagògica del projecte, el caràcter exclusivament religiós i la restricció per creença ha encès el debat sobre si aquest tipus d’activitats fomenten la segregació religiosa entre infants, en lloc d’afavorir la convivència i la integració.

Ni convivència, ni diversitat ni català

El Mini Muslim Camp s’organitza en col·laboració amb entitats vinculades a la comunitat islàmica, i segons els seus promotors, vol ser una resposta a la manca d’espais d’oci alineats amb la cultura i els valors religiosos de les famílies musulmanes. No obstant això, el seu model ha obert un precedent polèmic a Catalunya, on les colònies infantils, siguin públiques o privades, s’han caracteritzat històricament per la diversitat i la convivència. A més, pel que es veu a la publicitat tota serà en castellà.

Al Regne Unit, ja fa temps que funcionen campaments d’estiu exclusius per a nens musulmans, amb característiques similars a les del Mini Muslim Camp de Girona. En particular, el cas de Camp Wilayah, organitzat per la fundació Ahlulbayt Islamic Mission (AIM), ha atret atenció internacional. En aquest cas, la seva estructura també incorpora segregació per sexe i imposició estricta del hijab a les nenes, que només poden interactuar amb els nens durant moments limitats com les oracions, conferències o la foto de grup.

Organitzadors i líders de seguretat britànics han alertat que aquests espais funcionen com a àmbits immersius idonis per a la radicalització ideològica de menors.
