Detinguts per treballar amb un NIE llogat a Sant Antoni de Calonge

Pakistanesos i marroquins cedien el NIE a il·legals perquè treballessin a canvi del 20% del sou.

Segons la Policia, els sospitosos cedien la seva documentació (NIE) i les dades bancàries a un altre estranger en situació irregular. Aquest, les utilitzava per treballar a la construcció fent-se passar per ells. A canvi, el propietari del NIE cobrava tota la nòmina i es quedava amb un 20% com a comissió pel préstec de la identitat. A més, aquesta situació li permetia cotitzar per tenir dret a l’atur.

Els detinguts son treballadors d’una obra de Sant Antoni de Calonge (Baix Empordà)  i estan acusats d’usurpació d’identitat i de trobar-se en situació irregular.

Denunciats per trucada anònima

La Policía Nacional i la Inspecció de Treball va inspeccionar l’obra perquè van rebre l’avís amb una trucada anònima. La policia va obrir expedients sancionadors a l’empresa responsable de l’obra per incompliments en matèria laboral i de seguretat social. La investigació segueix oberta per buscar més responsabilitats.
