La reunificació familiar dificulta la integració, segons un estudi d’Àustria

A Àustria només una de cada dues dones aconsegueix dominar l’idioma després de cinc anys.

Una nova recerca publicada pel portal freilich-magazin.com, basada en dades del Fons Austríac per a la Integració (ÖIF), ha posat sobre la taula una qüestió delicada: els familiars de refugiats que arriben a Àustria per reunificació familiar tenen serioses dificultats d’integració, especialment durant els primers anys d’estada al país.

L’estudi conclou que les persones que arriben a Àustria per reagrupament familiar aprenen l’alemany més lentament i tenen més problemes per accedir al mercat laboral que els refugiats que van sol·licitar asil des d’un inici a Àustria. Per aquest motiu, el canceller Christian Stocker ha insistit en la necessitat de limitar el reagrupament familiar per tal de preservar la capacitat dels serveis socials austríacs.

Les dones, les més perjudicades

Segons les dades analitzades, el 70% dels familiars que arriben posteriorment són dones, de les quals el 46% són adultes i el 24% nenes. Entre les dones adultes, la taxa d’atur és del 34%, superior al 30% de les dones que van sol·licitar asil inicialment.

Les barreres lingüístiques també són més pronunciades en aquest col·lectiu: moltes no accedeixen als cursos d’alemany, fet que limita la seva autonomia i inserció. Només una de cada dues aconsegueix arribar a dominar l’idioma després de cinc anys.

El govern defensa la seva política

La ministra d’Integració, Claudia Plakolm (ÖVP), ha considerat que els resultats avalen la política del seu partit. Segons ella, un excés de persones a integrar fomenta societats paral·leles i dificulta la convivència: «Una integració social real ja no és possible quan el sistema està sobrecarregat», ha dit.

Per l’FPÖ és un truc de màgia

La FPÖ (Partit de la Llibertat d’Àustria) ha reaccionat amb contundència. El seu secretari general, Michael Schnedlitz, ha qualificat les mesures del govern de «truc de màgia barat» i ha acusat l’ÖVP de simular un fre al reagrupament familiar mentre el problema de fons persisteix.

Segons Schnedlitz, més de 250.000 migrants han arribat des del 2020 sota el paraigua de l’asil, provocant una sobrecàrrega insuportable a les escoles i serveis públics. Per això, la FPÖ reclama una aturada immediata de la immigració massiva i il·legal, considerant que les mesures actuals són del tot insuficients
