Pinten niqabs en un mural feminista de Getafe per denunciar la complicitat amb l’islam

Una acció anònima converteix un mural icònic del feminisme en una crítica directa al feminisme proislàmic. L’han netejat en poques hores.

Getafe, ciutat del sud de la Comunitat de Madrid, ha despertat amb un mural feminista alterat de manera provocadora. Segons informa Soy de Madrid, les imatges de figures de icòniques del feminisme com Frida Kahlo, Clara Campoamor i Rigoberta Menchú han aparegut amb niqabs pintats al rostre i un missatge contundent al costat: “Aquest és el veritable patriarcat, l’islàmic”.

El mural, pintat el 2021 pel col·lectiu Unlogic Crew prop de l’estació de Getafe Central, ja havia patit altres actes vandàlics. Aquesta vegada, però, el missatge ha estat clar: una crítica al feminisme que evita qüestionar certes pràctiques religioses.

Neteja immediata

L’alcaldessa de Getafe, Sara Hernández (PSOE), ha condemnat ràpidament l’atac a les xarxes socials amb un missatge contundent: “Davant l’odi, l’extremisme i el racisme, Getafe sempre es plantarà”, i afegeix que “tampoc ens faran callar en la defensa de la igualtat, la lluita diària del feminisme i el progrés”. Els serveis municipals han netejat la pintada ràpidament i la policia està investigant els fets. L’alcalde la veïna Parla (del PSOE) també s’ha afegit a condemnar la reivindicació . Segons ell, «els intolerants actuen de nit, amagats. Nosaltres, a la llum del dia i a cara descoberta”.

Encara no se sap qui ha pintat els niqabs al mural feminista, però l’acció recorda la protesta recent de Frente Obrero durant les festes de San Isidro, on també es van utilitzar niqabs per denunciar la islamització de Madrid.

Per alguns, aquesta acció és islamòfoba i fomenta l’odi contra una minoria religiosa. Per altres, és una denúncia legítima i valenta contra la submissió de les dones sota pretextos culturals o religiosos. Mentre la societat discuteix, les institucions han actuat amb rapidesa: condemna immediata dels polítics, neteja exprés del mural i una investigació policial en marxa. L’ordre simbòlic es restaura de pressa, però la incomoditat del missatge continua latent
