Islamic message from the United States to women who say «we have rights»

On Friday 23 May 2025, during a sermon at the Maryum Islamic Center, an imam launched an A message against women who demand equal rights with men. He branded them disobedient and accused them of questioning the divine order with their demands.
“Dirty placards” and a right already granted by God

Submission as a feminine virtue
To justify the sexual submission of the woman to her husband, he uses a narrative from the Prophet. He explained that, according to the Prophet Muhammad, The best wife is the one who makes her husband happy when he looks at her, who obeys him when he gives orders, and who does not oppose his wishes, either physically or financially.:
“When he commands, she obeys. When he says, ‘I want you,’ she responds. The virtuous woman does not go against her husband's desires, whether concerning his body or his wealth.”
The message conveyed reinforces the figure of the woman as submissive, domestic and dependent, while placing The man as protector, provider and final authority within the marriage.
