The preacher and coach Ustadh Gabriel Al Romaani explains in the video that Islam has a vocation to dominate the world. The message is aimed at Muslims living in the West and is part of the ideology. Hegira vs Dunya.

The message aims to spur Muslims in the West to make it clear that it is not about coexisting with or befriending other religions. The reason is that Islam came to dominate the world, and if that is not the goal of every Muslim living in the West, it is better to withdraw and live in a Muslim society.

Migration by faith in the face of the worldly world

The idea on which it is based Hijrah vs Dunya It stems from an interpretation according to which Muslims must not only protect their faith in the private sphere, but also to assert it and expand it into public space. In its messages, it argues that Islam must occupy a visible and central place in social, political and cultural life. It considers it the duty of every Muslim in the West to ensure that Sharia becomes law. If the oppressive conditions of Western society do not allow it, or one does not have the strength for the task, the best thing is to do the’migration (like Muhammad).

The message of this trend is that you shouldn't be “ashamed” to express it openly in the face of pressure from… world (Western norms). This approach is articulated from the classical idea of the Hijra —to migrate to protect the faith— but adapted to the current context, in which it is seen as necessary not only to preserve the religion, but also to transform society where Muslims live.

One of the key messages of the Hijra vs Dunya ideology is that if a Muslim cannot guarantee that future generations will live in the Islamic way, they must emigrate to a Muslim country. This implies that a Muslim who is not willing to change countries must do everything in their power to ensure that their Western country guarantees an Islamic way of life for future generations. If they see that this is impossible, they must leave.
