Imam of San Diego: «Every nightmare of a Muslim Europe will come true.»

The Pakistani resident in California, Uthman ibn Farooq, claims that Europe, America and Russia will become Muslim and urges the faithful never to ask for forgiveness or to yield.

Uthman ibn Farooq is an Islamic preacher born in Pakistan and based in the United States. He currently serves as the imam of the mosque. Masjid Al-Ribat, a San Diego (California), and is linked to the organisation One Message Foundation, dedicated to the call to Islam (call to Islam). Through his broadcasting channels and sermons, he has become a well-known voice within certain conservative Muslim circles.

In one of his latest speeches, circulated via social media and video recordings, Uthman ibn Farooq used strong language to express his vision of the expansion of Islam. According to him,’Islam will reach every home and the faithful must not make any concessions to Western society.. The message is quite emphatic:


We are the messengers of the Messenger, not its representatives. deen (religion) of Islam. We must be the solution; the future is ours. Every nightmare of a Muslim Europe will become reality. They can get as angry as they like; I don't care. America will become a Muslim country, Russia will become a Muslim country, Islam will enter every home. We must be part of this chain.
Islam will enter every home. We must be part of this change. We must be part of this. call to Islam (call to Islam). We must be part of those Good morning (steadfast), who remain faithful in our creed, doctrine, principle (belief), in our practice, in our deen, and who never, ever apologise.
Never, ever should we make concessions in our actions, and never, ever should we apologise for not apologising; never, ever should we make concessions on what is non-negotiable.
We have to be part of the Muqaraba, to remain firm in our creed, doctrine, principle, in our practice, in our deen, and we must never, ever apologise for not apologising. Never, ever must we make concessions on what is non-negotiable.»


Farooq's words have been met with controversy in Europe and the United States. Various political and social sectors have described the speech as’extremist and provocative, while his followers defend it as a legitimate call for steadfastness in the Islamic faith.
