El govern de Pedro Sánchez vol redistribuir part dels menors estrangers no acompanyats (MENAs) que arriben massivament a les illes Canàries. Andalusia és una de les comunitats que hauran d’assumir més càrrega. El govern espanyol li exigeix acollir 1.378 menors més, segons publica OKDiario.

Cost de 4.500 euros al mes per MENA

Cada MENA té un cost mitjà de 150 euros al dia, és a dir, 4.500 euros al mes. Andalusia ja atén 2.615 menors, cosa que implica una despesa anual de 141,2 milions d’euros a càrrec de la comunitat. Si es veu obligada a sumar-hi 1.378 menors no acompanyats més, el cost anual total superaria els 215 milions d’euros.

Des de la Junta d’Andalusia es denuncia que l’Estat no acompanya la mesura amb els recursos econòmics necessaris. A més, ja han rebut recentment uns 650 menors procedents de les Canàries que van resultar ser adults. En confirmar-se la seva edat, van passar automàticament a ser responsabilitat dels serveis socials andalusos. De tota manera, la Junta s’ha d’ocupar de proporcionar-los roba, menjar, sanitat i allotjament.

Andalusia ha de triplicar la capacitat d’acollida

La nova ràtio estatal establerta pel govern espanyol fixa que cada comunitat autònoma ha de disposar de 32 places d’acollida per cada 100.000 habitants. Amb una població de prop de 8,5 milions d’habitants Andalusia hauria de tenir unes 2.700 places disponibles per a MENAs. Actualment, però, només en té lliures 645, i ha d’acollir 1400 MENAs que ja son a Canarias.

Això obliga la Junta a crear més de 1.350 places noves per ajustar-se al nou criteri imposat des de Madrid i tenir places de reserva. La construcció o habilitació d’aquests recursos, a més del cost de manteniment dels menors, representarà una càrrega econòmica i logística considerable per al sistema d’acollida andalús.

El govern d’Andalucía ha anunciat que presentarà un recurs davant del Tribunal Constitucional, denunciant una invasió de competències i la manca de finançament estatal per fer front a una pressió creixent sobre els serveis socials de la comunitat.
