A viral Twitter post featuring a statement from the Institut Lacetània in Manresa (Central Catalonia) has caused surprise and outrage among some users.

In the image you can see an information note sent to the families of 14-year-old pupils about a school trip to a water park. The document includes practical details such as the timetable, transport, food and the necessary clothing. In the section dedicated to swimwear, It clearly states that students may wear a swimming costume, bikini or burkini, and adds that it is not permitted to swim in street clothes such as T-shirts or ordinary trousers..
