Una església d’Alemanya necessita protecció policial perquè el pastor va parlar a favor d’Israel

Protestes setmanals davant l’església de Langenau des de 2023 de musulmans i gent d’esquerres amb nines mutilades, esvàstiques i insults. El culte només es pot celebrar amb presència policial.

Segons informa el diari The Algemeiner i confirmen diversos mitjans alemanys com Die Welt, la comunitat protestant de la ciutat de Langenau, al sud d’Alemanya, és víctima de protestes violentes i intimidacions setmanals des de l’octubre de 2023. Els atacs van començar després que el pastor Ralf Sedlak expressés suport a les víctimes israelianes dels atacs de Hamas del 7 d’octubre de 2023.

Des d’aleshores, grups identificats com a partidaris de Hamas es concentren cada cap de setmana davant l’església St. Martin. El que va començar com una protesta s’ha convertit en un assetjament sostingut i organitzat, amb elements que han estat qualificats com a antisemites i intimidatoris. Segons els testimonis, la majoria dels manifestants son musulmans.

Nines mutilades, sang i esvàstiques a la porta del temple

Segons els testimonis recollits pels mitjans, els manifestants han col·locat a les portes de l’església objectes d’una violència simbòlica extrema, amb l’objectiu d’intimidar la comunitat religiosa. Entre aquests elements s’hi han trobat nines desmembrades i tacades de sang, esvàstiques pintades sobre cartells, i missatges plens d’insults antisemites i acusacions contra Israel.

A més de l’assetjament visual, també s’han registrat enfrontaments verbals i empentes físiques. Fidels que assistien al culte han estat increpats, empesos i gravats amb telèfons mòbils de manera intimidatòria, segons ha denunciat el portal europeu Intolerance Against Christians in Europe.

El culte, sota protecció policial

Davant l’escalada de tensió i violència, les autoritats locals han hagut de posar dispositius policials permanents durant els serveis religiosos. El culte només es pot celebrar amb la presència d’agents per garantir la seguretat dels assistents i del clergat.

L’alcaldessa de Langenau, Daria Henning, ha decretat recentment la prohibició de concentracions durant els oficis religiosos, una mesura excepcional que busca protegir el dret de culte i frenar l’hostilitat davant el temple. Tot i així, els manifestants han anunciat que buscaran vies alternatives per continuar amb les accions de protesta.
