Tensió a la Universitat de Lió 2: estudiants bloquegen el campus per la prohibició d’un iftar

Els estudiants havien ocupat la sala dies abans per celebrar el Ramadà. Els sindicats d’estudiants estan enfrontats.

El campus Porte des Alpes de la Universitat Lumière Lyon 2 va ser escenari d’una protesta aquest divendres al matí, tal com informa Le Figaro. El motiu: la decisió de la direcció del centre de prohibir una vetllada de ruptura del dejuni del Ramadà, prevista per al passat 25 de març en una sala universitària. Els estudiants contraris a la prshibició van bloquejar l’accés al campus durant unes hores.

L’iftar havia estat anunciat a les xarxes socials i organitzat per un col·lectiu d’estudiants que ocupava una sala de la universitat des de feia diversos dies. Tanmateix, la proposta va ser objecte de polèmica després de ser denunciada pel moviment estudiantil UNI (conservador) que va criticar l’organització d’un esdeveniment de caràcter religiós en un espai públic universitari.

Per la seva banda, el sindicat Solidaires dona suport a la proposta i qualifica d’islamofòbia i racisme la posició de la universitat i dels professors que els van recomanar fer «una carta laica».

Els estudiants tenen previst fer una assemblea general dilluns per decidir els propers passos.
