Joves musulmans criden Al.là Akbar i «us cremarem l’església» a Avinyó

El rector denuncia amenaces després de la missa nocturna d’un grup de joves. La policia vigila el temple.

Explica el mitjà Police & Realités que el dissabte 10 de maig de 2025, després de la missa nocturna, uns 10 joves musulmans d’entre 15 i 20 anys van entrar a l’església de Montfavet, a Avinyó (França). El pretext era voler visitar el temple però la seva actitud va degenerar. Segons el sacerdot Laurent Milan i diversos testimonis, van cridar insults contra la religió catòlica, van fer amenaces i van cantar «Al·là Akbar», «Jesús, et fotrem» i fins i tot van prometre: «Tornarem i cremarem la vostra església».

Un testimoni va explicar a La Provence que «Un d’ells va començar a córrer, d’altres es van aplegar al voltant del sacerdot, cridant insults«. El rector ha explicat que no viu tranquil: «Ens van robar un ordinador de l’església, espelmes… De vegades la gent ve i xuta la pilota deliberadament contra la paret de l’església durant la missa » . 

El mossèn va presentar una denúncia immediatament, i la policia ha obert una investigació. S’estan revisant les imatges de les càmeres de seguretat per identificar els responsables. Mentrestant, s’ha reforçat la presència policial al voltant de l’església per garantir la seguretat dels fidels .

Entorn deteriorat

Aquest incident s’inscriu en un context de tensions creixents a la zona, amb actes d’incivisme, robatoris i sorolls durant les misses. El rector ha expressat la seva preocupació per la deterioració de l’entorn i ha fet una crida a les autoritats perquè prenguin mesures fermes per protegir la llibertat de culte i la seguretat dels fidels .
