En diversos clubs de platja, hotels i piscines del Marroc s’han imposat restriccions a dones que porten hijab o burkini. Aquesta pràctica, tot i no estar regulada per cap llei, s’ha convertit en una norma habitual en determinats establiments turístics. Segons les informacions publicades per Bladi.net, durant l’estiu del 2025 diverses turistes residents a Europa han denunciat que se’ls ha impedit accedir a zones de bany o d’oci per portar vestimenta considerada inapropiada pel personal dels locals.

En un dels casos més comentats, una dona va gravar un vídeo a l’exterior d’un club de platja denunciant que li havien impedit entrar per dur hijab. L’escena, compartida a instagram, ha generat reaccions tant a favor com en contra. Mentre algunes veus defensen el dret dels establiments a establir normes d’accés, d’altres critiquen que aquestes pràctiques afecten directament dones que opten per mantenir una vestimenta conforme a les seves conviccions religioses.

Una usuària va escriure: “Vull saber per què la prohibició??? Com pot afectar un mocador en el cabell un projecte turístic???”, posant en qüestió la raó de ser de la norma aplicada. Una altra comentava: “Benvinguda al nostre país. A mi també m’ha passat”, mostrant que la situació no és aïllada. Un tercer comentari defensava el club: “A aquell lloc serveixen alcohol i tenen espectacles amb dones mig despullades. Si ella hagués entès això, no hauria anat a aquest tipus de llocs des del principi.”

Cada cop són més els hotels, clubs de platja i piscines públiques del Marroc que prohibeixen expressament l’ús del burkini. Cada cop és més habitual veure cartells visibles a l’entrada amb indicacions com “burkini no autoritzat” o “vestimenta de bany reglamentària obligatòria”. Aquesta pràctica s’ha fet especialment visible a ciutats amb forta activitat turística com Marràqueix, Agadir o Casablanca.

El fenomen ha anat en augment des de l’estiu del 2024 i s’ha consolidat el 2025, segons testimonis recollits als mitjans i a les xarxes socials. Moltes dones han relatat que se’ls ha impedit accedir a zones de bany o que han estat convidades a sortir-ne un cop detectat el tipus de banyador que portaven. Alguns establiments han afirmat que es tracta de decisions internes relacionades amb la imatge del lloc o amb criteris propis sobre el que consideren una indumentària adequada per a l’ús recreatiu.

Denúncia al Consell Nacional dels Drets Humans

Davant l’augment de casos denunciats per l’exclusió de dones que porten burkini o hijab en piscines i clubs de platja, el Centre Marroquí per a la Protecció dels Drets Socials i el Desenvolupament ha presentat una queixa formal al Consell Nacional dels Drets Humans (CNDH).

A través d’aquest pas institucional, l’entitat demana al CNDH que intervingui per a garantir que els establiments turístics respectin els drets de totes les dones, independentment de la seva aparença o de la vestimenta que decideixin portar en espais recreatius.

Segons informa Bladi.net, la denúncia fa referència a “pràctiques inacceptables” en diversos establiments turístics, que —segons el centre— vulneren els drets fonamentals de les dones afectades, especialment pel que fa a la llibertat de vestimenta i a la igualtat d’accés als serveis.
