Una enquesta recent recollida per The Express ha encès les alarmes entre els partidaris de la Unió Europea: el suport a un possible Irexit va en augment. Tot i que el sentiment proeuropeu continua sent majoritari, el percentatge d’irlandesos que estarien a favor de marxar de la Unió és el més alt en anys. Un dels motors d’aquest creixement euroescèptic és la preocupació creixent per la immigració.
