Early in the morning on 28 February 2025, a cleaning worker at the Sabadell Industrial School found the lifeless body of a Moroccan man trapped in a window of the educational centre.
According to the initial investigations, the individual is believed to have attempted to gain access to the building during the night to commit a theft. The Mossos d'Esquadra received the alert at around 7:40 am. On arriving at the scene, they confirmed the man's death; he had no connection to the institute.
Classes suspended and investigation ongoing
In light of this situation, the management of the Sabadell Industrial School decided to suspend all scheduled teaching activities for that day. The pupils' families were informed of the situation and asked not to bring their children to the school.
