Three Algerians currently detained for squatting in Santa Margarida i els Monjos

The Municipal Police of Santa Margarida i els Monjos (Alt Penedès) arrested last Thursday Three men of Algerian origin with various criminal records after attempting to occupy a vacant dwelling on Rapita Avenue.

According to the police statement, the intervention It was carried out in just three minutes after a warning was received alerting to the presence of people entering a vacant house.. When the officers arrived, they found the suspects red-handed and arrested them on suspicion of the alleged offence of squatting on a property.
