An individual has been arrested in Mollet del Vallès (Barcelona) for smashing the front and rear windows of around thirty vehicles parked on the street. The incident occurred this Wednesday at around two in the afternoon. Several residents alerted the Municipal Police that a man was indiscriminately striking cars parked on Sant Agustí Street and nearby areas. Some residents recorded the incident on their mobile phones, and the footage has been widely shared on social media.
Upon arriving at the scene, the officers located and arrested the man, who had cuts on his hands, probably caused by the damage he had inflicted. After receiving medical attention at Mollet Hospital, he was handed over to the Mossos d'Esquadra, accused of damaging 31 vehicles. The authorities are continuing to investigate the motives behind this act of vandalism.
