Stabbing in Barceloneta with a Moroccan man arrested
The Mossos have arrested a Moroccan suspect with a criminal record. They are investigating other people involved in the assault.

A new stabbing in Barcelona has left a man seriously injured, according to sources such as El Periódico and El Caso. The incident took place at around six in the evening on Aigüader Street in the Barceloneta neighbourhood, behind Estació de França.
Several people involved
According to several witnesses, several people took part in the assault. Only one person of Moroccan origin with a record for similar offences has been arrested. The Mossos d'Esquadra have identified other possible suspects and are keeping the investigation open to clarify the motives behind the attack.
Both the Mossos and the emergency services rushed to the scene after receiving the alert. Upon arrival, they found the victim with incised wounds to the neck, cuts to the hands and clear signs of bruising. After receiving initial medical attention at the scene, she was rushed to hospital in serious condition with significant haemorrhaging.
The victim remains in hospital, although no update has been provided on their condition. The investigation is ongoing to clarify all the details of the incident and determine the extent of involvement of the other identified suspects.
