Acusen a Lleida (PSOE) de no empadronar a qualsevol

Segons les entitats del tercer sector de Lleida, la ciutat posa traves per empadronar qualsevol. Al podcast de l’informatiu vespre de Lleida Ràdio, representants de La Fundació Arrels o Creu Roja expliquen que es posen problemes per «l’empadronament fictici». Aquest empadronament es fa quan la persona no pot demostrar amb documents de compra o de lloguer que té dret a viure a un habitatge de la ciutat, tal com exigeix la llei.

En aquest cas, l’ajuntament ha de fer comprovacions per verificar si realment la persona viu on diu que viu. És en aquest punt on diuen que l’ajuntament aprofita per negar l’empadronament. La situació afecta principalment a immigrants que veuen com la seva sol·licitud no es resol mai.

L’Ajuntament nega que no empadroni sense complir els requisits

En resposta a les peticions de l’ACN, la Paeria ha afirmat que empadrona les persones residents a la ciutat, «incloses aquelles que no disposen de títol habilitant», sempre que es pugui acreditar de manera fefaent la residència efectiva al domicili, tal com estableix la normativa vigent.

També assenyala que la ciutat té una pressió addicional perquè els municipis del voltant sí demanen la documentació legal que doni dret a viure a un habitatge. Aquesta situació fa que molts residents a pobles del voltant sense títol habilitant optin per empadronar-se a Lleida.

«Padró, drets per viure»

La trentena d’entitats que denuncien la situació han anunciat accions reivindicatives. Començaran amb una manifestació el 25 d’abril davant la Paeria sota el lema «Padró, drets per viure».

Recorden que el padró és la porta d’entrada als drets més fonamentals, com l’atenció sanitària, l’educació, l’accés als serveis socials, la participació política i la regularització administrativa. També subratllen que és una eina clau per dimensionar de manera adequada els serveis i recursos públics segons la població real dels barris. «Sense padró, moltes persones queden fora del sistema i no poden exercir una ciutadania plena», ha advertit Nana.
