A diverses escoles de Viena s’estan produint incidents greus que han encès les alarmes entre docents i representants sindicals, segons un informe publicat per Exxpress. El representant del sindicat FCG, Thomas Krebs, alerta que cada vegada hi ha més casos de professors musulmans que rebutgen donar la mà a les seves companyes femenines, un gest que en el context escolar austríac simbolitza respecte i igualtat bàsica.

Aquest comportament, que fins fa poc era considerat excepcional, s’ha repetit en diversos centres fins a convertir-se en un motiu de preocupació real. El sindicat considera que aquest gest és molt més que un simple desacord cultural i alerta que és un senyal d’una tensió profunda entre els valors democràtics del país i algunes pràctiques importades que s’hi oposen frontalment.

El comportament d’aquests professors musulmans no només afecta el personal docent sinó que envia un missatge confús i perillós als alumnes. En alguns centres ja s’han detectat actituds de menyspreu cap a professores i alumnes d’origen occidental, i els docents alerten que alguns estudiants prenen com a model aquestes actituds discriminatòries.

A més, Krebs explica que entre els mateixos joves s’estan reforçant pressions culturals que fomenten la desigualtat i la segregació dins de les aules. Quan un professor valida amb el seu propi comportament un tracte diferenciat cap a les dones, es consolida la idea que aquest tipus d’actituds són legítimes, normalitzant un problema que ja s’estén entre alumnes i famílies.

El sindicat exigeix mesures i integració obligatòria per als docents

Davant d’aquesta situació, Krebs defensa que la integració no pot recaure només en els alumnes i que els docents també han de complir requisits clars per garantir la coherència del missatge educatiu. Considera imprescindible que qualsevol persona que vulgui treballar en una escola pública assumeixi explícitament els valors democràtics del país i el principi d’igualtat entre homes i dones.

Per això, el sindicat proposa programes d’integració obligatoris, supervisats per les autoritats i independents de l’horari escolar. Segons Krebs, només amb un compromís ferm i verificable es pot assegurar que els centres educatius no es converteixin en escenaris de conflicte cultural i que el sistema educatiu mantingui la seva funció de cohesió social.
