Detingut a Turquia un marroquí per violar més de 100 nens a Tortosa

Han capturat a Turquia un ciutadà marroquí acusat de violar més de 100 nens a Tortosa i gravar-ho en vídeo. Les autoritats espanyoles el buscaven des de 2019, quan es va escapar abans de ser jutjat.

La seva detenció ha tingut lloc en un hotel de Turquia on intentava passar desapercebut fent-se passar per refugiat palestí. Finalment, va ser identificat mitjançant empremtes dactilars gràcies a una ordre d’arrest internacional emesa per Interpol a petició dels Mossos d’Esquadra. S’espera l’extradició a Espanya en els propers dies.

Tortosa, centre d’una xarxa criminal

El pis des d’on operava, a Tortosa, s’havia convertit en l’escenari d’un autèntic malson. Allà es van enregistrar alguns dels més de 300 vídeos de contingut pedòfil, amb víctimes d’entre 11 i 16 anys. La xarxa, activa durant més de 15 anys, també va operar a Tailàndia, i només 18 de les més de 100 víctimes han estat identificades fins avui. Es considera una de les xarxes pedòfiles mai descobertes a Espanya.

Part del drama rau en el fet que algunes de les criatures estaven sota la tutela de la Direcció General d’Atenció a la Infància i l’Adolescència (DGAIA), fet que ha obert un intens debat sobre la responsabilitat de les institucions en la protecció dels menors.
