Conductor d’autobús musulmà a Rússia atura el servei per resar

L’incident va tenir lloc a la ciutat de Vladivostok (Rússia). L’han acomiadat i el muftí local ha criticat l’acte.

Un conductor d’autobús de passatgers va ser multat i acomiadat per la seva decisió de fer namaz (pregària musulmana) durant l’horari laboral just a la calçada al centre de Vladivostok, informa VL.RU. El vídeo s’ha fet viral a les xarxes socials ruses.

Segons diversos mitjans, l’heroi del vídeo viral en què apareix resant a la carretera davant d’un autobús és un conductor txetxè de 24 anys. L’home va estendre una catifa de pregària al mig del carrer i va començar a fer les inclinacions de la pregària. Sembla que el fet d’estar incomplint les normes de trànsit i dificultant el pas a altres vehicles no li preocupava gaire.

S’ha informat que, en el moment de la pregària, dins l’autobús hi havia passatgers. Alguns d’ells, en veure la situació, van decidir no esperar que acabés i van continuar el trajecte a peu.

Resar al carrer no és legal a Rússia

El cas ha generat debat a les xarxes sobre el marc legal que regula les pràctiques religioses a Rússia. Segons la Llei federal sobre la llibertat de consciència i les associacions religioses, les oracions només es poden dur a terme en edificis o instal·lacions específicament destinades a aquest fi. Per tant, no està permès resar a la via pública, com ara carreteres o voreres.

Acomiadat immediatament

El subdirector de l’empresa de transports va afirmar que “respecta profundament totes les religions” en un país tan divers com Rússia, però va remarcar que hi ha normes que s’han de complir de manera estricta.

A la ciutat de Vladivostok, diverses empreses de transport públic seran sancionades amb multes perquè alguns dels seus conductors no es van presentar a treballar el dia de l’Eid al-Fitr, festivitat musulmana que marca el final del Ramadà.

Crítiques del líder de la comunitat musulmana

El líder de la comunitat musulmana local,el muftí Ramil Kilmukhametov, va criticar durament l’actuació del conductor. Va remarcar que un bon musulmà «no ha de molestar els altres amb la seva pregària«. Va afegir que , després de tot, «podeu fer namaz a la parada final de la ruta de l’autobús. Aquest comportament fa malbé l’actitud cap a l’islam i els musulmans. Condemnem aquestes accions«. El muftí va qualificar l’incident com “una pregària per fer-se veure”
