Es va reformar l’edifici l’any 2024 per acollir més dones sense sostre. Ara s’hi allotgen menors estrangers no acompanyats.

L’Ajuntament de Barcelona va reformar el centre d’acollida de dones del Carrer del Císter (Sarrià-Sant Gervasi) per passar de 40 places a 100. Les obres van finalitzar l’any 2024 i, en reobrir, l’equipament també va començar a acollir MENAs.

La presència d’homes ha generat un fort malestar entre les famílies i els veïns de la zona. El centre es troba paret per paret amb una escola, i a l’entorn n’hi ha diverses més. Segons denuncien pares i residents, aquesta nova convivència ha provocat situacions d’inseguretat i conflicte.

Segons relaten diversos testimonis recollits per eldebate.com, els menors més conflictius han protagonitzat episodis d’assetjament verbal i actituds intimidatòries envers alumnes de les escoles veïnes i també envers residents del barri. “Aquests joves sovint van drogats, merodegen per la zona i fins i tot han intentat entrar dins dels centres educatius”, explica l’Elisabet, una mare amb dues filles escolaritzades just al costat del centre d’acollida.

Les famílies canvien les rutines per por als MENAs

La situació ha arribat al punt que moltes famílies han canviat les seves rutines per evitar que les seves filles passin soles per davant del centre. L’augment del trànsit i de la presència policial a les hores d’entrada i sortida de l’escola ha estat notable, fet que per molts pares és una contradicció: “Si no hi ha cap problema, per què hi ha tanta vigilància policial?”, es pregunta l’Elisabet, que qualifica la postura de l’Ajuntament de “hipòcrita”.

L’incident més greu es va produir fa pocs dies, quan alguns d’aquests joves van arribar a accedir a l’interior d’un centre escolar, fet que va comportar una denúncia per part de la direcció de l’escola. Per a moltes famílies, aquest episodi representa un límit que ja s’ha traspassat, i exigeixen una resposta clara per part de l’Ajuntament.

L’Ajuntament diu que tot va bé

Des del govern municipal, la regidora del districte de Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Maria Eugènia Gay, nega que hi hagi problemes de convivència o inseguretat a la zona. Defensant la distribució equitativa d’aquests centres per tota la ciutat, Gay afirma que no és necessari traslladar els menors a altres barris.

Mentrestant, el malestar veïnal continua creixent. Molts residents consideren que les autoritats miren cap a una altra banda mentre la preocupació entre les famílies augmenta. Alguns temen que, si no s’actua amb celeritat, podria acabar passant una desgràcia.
