Pakistanis offer €50,000 to behead Geert Willders
A Pakistani doctor calls on TikTok for Dutch Muslims to behead the winner of the 2023 election.

A doctor from Pakistan has called on Dutch Muslims to kill Wilders. He has offered 5 million rupees (€50,000) to anyone who does so. This is not the first time Wilders has received death threats.
Wilders has been living under strict security for 20 years. In 2004 he founded the PVV party, known for proposing measures. such as the ban on Muslim immigration, the closure of mosques and the banning of the Qur'an.
Since then, the constant threats have affected his personal and professional life to the point that he lives under strict security measures. In November 2023 he won the election but did not have enough support to be appointed president.
Geert Wilders is the most protected politician in Europe.
Several Pakistanis have been convicted in the Netherlands of incitement to violence against him. In 2018, Wilders proposed a contest for caricatures of Muhammad. This provoked the anger of many Muslims, and Pakistani leaders called for his assassination. A Pakistani man was arrested in the Netherlands when he was about to kill him.
In September 2024, a court in Amsterdam convicted two Pakistani citizens of inciting the murder of a Dutch politician. Since the Netherlands does not have an extradition treaty with Pakistan and the country refused extradition, it is unlikely that these convictions will be enforced.
The threats to TikTok
On TikTok, the Pakistani man claims: I, as a Pakistani Muslim, call for the president of the Netherlands to be blasphemed; whoever beheads him will receive 5 million rupees as a ‘Hadiya'. (reward for performing actions in favour of Islam).

The danger of radicals on social media
On social media there are all kinds of Muslim radicals inciting the murder of infidels. Radical religious messages have left the mosques and move with impunity across the networks. The Dutch authorities can only ask the platforms to remove posts but can do nothing against a user in Pakistan who is calling for the murder of Dutch citizens.
