Pakistanès denunciat per intentar matrimoni forçat de la nena de 12 anys

Una mare i la seva filla de tan sols 12 anys han denunciat un presumpte intent de matrimoni forçat a Barcelona.

Segons les informacions revelades per The Country, el pare pakistanès va amenaçar amb emportar-se la nena al Pakistan per casar-la amb un familiar. Els Mossos d’Esquadra han actuat amb celeritat i ja han posat el cas als jutjats i els serveis socials s’han fet càrrec de la mare i la filla.

Mare i filla protegides per Acesop

La mare i la filla porten des de l’agost passat acollides a l’Associació Cultural Educativa i Social Operativa de Dones Pakistaneses (Acesop), situada al barri del Raval de Barcelona. L’associació els va aconseguir empadronament, tarjeta sanitària, matriculació a un institut i una xarxa de relacions personals. La nena havia fet un grup d’amigues que ara ha perdut perquè per seguretat l’han traslladat a les afores de Barcelona.

Explica la fundadora de l’entitat, Huma Jamshed, que les va allotjar a l’entitat perquè els diferents serveis de recursos socials es van anar passant la responsabilitat els uns als altres, escudant-se en la manca d’un domicili fix. Davant la situació de deixadesa pública va decidir passar a l’acció i donar-los refugi fins que es decidissin a denunciar el pare.

La mare va mostrar els missatges amb les amenaces del pare als agents de la comissaria de Ciutat Vella. Ja amb la denúncia posada han sigut ateses pels serveis socials de Barcelona. S’han fet càrrec de la situació i les han traslladat a un lloc segur.

Per la seva banda, el pare s’enfronta a una pena de fins a tres anys de presó perquè el matrimoni forçat a Catalunya es considera una forma de violència masclista.
